GPC is pleased to be holding to a double celebration on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 – the celebration of a momentous milestone of GPC completing 30 glorious years and the commemoration of the 2nd Annual National ‘Governance Professionals Day’ in Canada under the theme “– “Three decades of excellence: Honoring governance professionals in shaping a resilient future”.

On this 2nd Annual National Governance Professionals Day, we at GPC are proud to recognize and honour you, the backbone of our governance community for over three decades.

As Governance Professionals, you are the guardians and conscience of governance for your organizations, which goes above and beyond the work that you do in implementing policies and procedures, monitoring compliance, or managing the Board and its committees. In the past 30 years of evolution, your role has morphed into one that is strategic and key to ensuring your organization’s success.

The National Governance Professionals Day is a celebration for all Canadian Governance Professionals. It is an assurance that their role is central in fostering a culture of accountability and transparency with any organization.
