On this 4th Annual National Governance Professionals Day, we at GPC are proud to recognize and honour you, the backbone of our governance community for over three decades.

As Governance Professionals, you are the guardians and conscience of governance for your organizations, which goes above and beyond the work that you do in implementing policies and procedures, monitoring compliance, or managing the Board and its committees. In the past 30 years of evolution, your role has morphed into one that is strategic and key to ensuring your organization’s success.

The National Governance Professionals Day is a celebration for all Canadian Governance Professionals. It is an assurance that their role is central in fostering a culture of accountability and transparency with any organization.
