David Toyoda

Mr. Toyoda practices in corporate and securities law, advising mining, technology and biotechnology companies that are listed, or preparing to list, on Canadian exchanges. Mr. Toyoda graduated from UBC with a LL.B degree and a B.Comm degree with honours and was called to the bar in 1993. He is a frequent presenter and lecturer on corporate and securities law topics at conferences and universities, including the TSX Venture Exchange and Simon Fraser University. He is a Director of several public companies.

David Miller
Senior Manager, Legal, for Listed Issuer Services at the TSX Venture Exchange

Mr. Miller is responsible for reviewing filings in connection with major transactions including initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, qualifying transactions and mergers and acquisitions.  Before joining the Exchange, David was Senior Legal Counsel in the Corporate Finance division of the BC Securities Commission and prior to that he practiced securities and corporate law with a Vancouver law firm. David also teaches at the Faculty of Law at University of British Columbia and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1996.
