Paul Osbaldeston

Paul is a lawyer from Edmonton, Alberta.  He is in-house counsel to Alberta Innovates, a provincial Crown Corporation.  Alberta Innovates is the Government of Alberta’s largest research and innovation funding agency, administering a grants portfolio in excess of $120M annually.  There, he advises management and the board on a variety of legal, governance, and risk matters and oversees the corporation’s legal, contracts and IP offices.

Paul has particular experience and achievement in the areas of contract, administrative and public law, and non-profit and public agency governance.  He has served on the board of Goodwill Industries of Alberta and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law.

He holds Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction) and Law degrees from the University of Alberta.
