Patrick Gauch is a seasoned finance and operations executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. He is currently a Corporate Director and Principal at Ardmore Consulting where he partners with not-for-profit organizations to build strong governance, clear strategy, and resilient operations. With expertise in leadership, strategic planning, financial management, human resources management, governance, organizational development, and risk management, he is adept at dealing with the complex issues facing organizations.

A not-for-profit executive leader, previous roles include Vice-President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer for Supply Chain Canada, a national membership based professional association, Chief Financial Officer for YMCA Canada, one of Canada’s largest and oldest charities, and Vice-President, Finance and Operations for the Ottawa Cancer Foundation, a local health care charity.

Patrick is currently the Chair of GPC’s Human Resources and Compensation Committee and serves on the Board of the Council of the Ontario College of Pharmacists, Supply Chain Canada (Treasurer and Chair, Finance and Audit Committee), SPAO: Photographic Arts Centre (Past-Chair, Board of Directors), and is Chair of the Board Nominating Committee for the Human Resources Professionals Association.

Patrick’s academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (Executive Management) from Royal Roads University and a Master of Laws (Business Law) from Osgoode Hall Law School. His credentials include the ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors, the GPC.D from the Governance Professionals of Canada and has several professional credentials in executive leadership, association management, finance, human resources, and governance.
