Elevating Governance through Integrated Healthcare Reform

COURSE  OVERVIEW

Ontario’s Connecting Care Act established a new model of care delivery through Ontario Health Teams (OHTs), in which health care providers from across the continuum of care (hospitals, home care providers, primary care, health service providers, long term care, community support agencies and more), work together as a coordinated team to provide health and health related services to their communities.

This requires integrated and coordinated governance between the organizations involved while each of the organizations also maintains their own independent identity.

COURSE STRUCTURE

This course will be held "lunch & Learn" style over 3 Tuesday's in June.

Session 1: June 4, 2024, 12pm - 1pm ET
Session 2: June 11, 2024, 12pm - 1pm ET

The first two sessions will equip health and community care leaders with essential background knowledge in healthcare governance along with practical guidance regarding governance for OHTs, including tools and strategies to effectively engage and work within this new model of healthcare delivery.
