ESG Trends, Upcoming Regulations and Holiday Networking

The Calgary Chapter of the GPC is pleased to present an in-person session tackling the topic of ESG Trends and Upcoming Regulations.  The speaker session will be followed by a holiday get-together and networking for GPC members.

Please join us on December 7th at 3:30 at the Petroleum Club, 319 5th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta. 

Following the presentation, please join other GPC members for some holiday treats and raise a glass of holiday cheer at a mix and mingle to get to know the other members.

Shauna Mason, MBA, FCG

Shauna Mason is an influential investor relations, governance, communications & ESG leader with 18 years’ experience in developing strategies and programs for both public and private companies. Shauna is skilled at developing integrated communication strategies that engages stakeholders in a meaningful way while enhancing the corporate image. 

Shauna has written ESG/Sustainability reports, managed materiality assessments, and created ESG strategies providing many benefits including improved rating agency scores, awards and recognition, access to capital and reduced insurance premiums.

Prior to joining CAS Corporate Governance Service, Shauna consulted for several companies, including GreenWorks Environmental Partnership, Deloitte, and TC Energy.  From 2009 to 2020 Shauna was the Manager Corporate Affairs at Bellatrix Exploration Ltd. Prior thereto, Shauna was the Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Artumas Group Inc. Shauna holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Queen’s University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (HBCOM) degree from McMaster University.  Shauna currently is a Director for; Altama Foundation, Energy for All, the Canadian Governance Institute of Canada and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.
